Who we are

Vibeclove is a Mac app made and sold by Bojan Ivanac, Serbia ("we", "us"). This policy is for the Vibeclove app and for this website, vibeclove.app.

Data that stays on your Mac

Vibeclove reads this data to show it in the notch. It does not send it to us or to anyone else.

• Agent events. Claude Code and Codex send status events to Vibeclove through small hooks and a local socket. These events can include your prompts, tool requests and folder names. Vibeclove uses them only to show your sessions.
• Session files. Vibeclove reads the session files that Claude Code and Codex keep on your Mac, to show prompts, titles and Codex usage limits.
• Calendar and Reminders. If you give access, Vibeclove reads your events and reminders through macOS. When you add a reminder in the notch, macOS saves it to your Reminders.
• Now Playing. Vibeclove reads the song, artist and artwork that is playing on your Mac, and sends play, pause, repeat and favorite commands to your music app.
• Files on the shelf. Vibeclove keeps references to the files you drop on the shelf. It does not copy or upload them.
• Settings. Your settings, and backups of agent settings files from before Vibeclove added its hooks, are stored on your Mac.

When Vibeclove uses the internet

• Updates. Vibeclove checks for new versions about once a day. It downloads an update list from downloads.vibeclove.app, which is hosted on Cloudflare. The request includes your IP address, the app version and the macOS version, as every web request does. We do not log it for any other purpose.
• License. When you activate Vibeclove, the app checks your license key with Polar, our payment provider. It sends the license key, the name of your Mac (so that you can tell your Macs apart) and the app version. After that, the app checks the key about once a day. These checks send the license key and an activation ID.
• Claude usage limits. To show your Claude limits, Vibeclove asks the Claude Code app on your Mac for its usage. Claude Code gets this from Anthropic with its own sign-in, as it does when you use it. Vibeclove does not read or store your Claude sign-in.
• Pull requests. If you use the pull requests widget, Vibeclove asks the GitHub CLI (gh) on your Mac for your open pull requests. The GitHub CLI uses your own GitHub sign-in.
• Links you click. Meeting links and similar links open in your browser.

Purchases

Polar sells Vibeclove for us as the merchant of record. Polar processes your payment, taxes and invoices under its own privacy policy. We do not see your card details. We get your email address, your name, your country and your order details, so that we can send your license key and help you.

This website

• No analytics and no cookies. This website does not track you and does not set cookies.
• Hosting. Our web server receives standard request data, such as your IP address and browser type, and can keep it in short-term server logs.
• Downloads. The app download comes from Cloudflare, which receives your IP address.

How long we keep data

We keep purchase and license records for as long as your license is active and as long as tax law requires. We keep support emails only for as long as we need them to help you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the data we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@vibeclove.app. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

To remove Vibeclove's data from your Mac:

• In Settings › Agents, click Disconnect for each agent. This removes the hooks.
• Quit Vibeclove and delete the app.
• Delete the ~/.vibeclove folder.

Children

Vibeclove is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
